Neuton CE 6.2: The Electric Lawn Mower

Tired of paying $4/gallon for gas every week?  I found a way to reduce your gas bill and your carbon footprint at the same time.  The Neuton CE 6.2 is an electric powered lawn mower that can go toe to toe with its gas counterpart.  Its powerful enough to cut almost any residential grass you can throw at it.  Weighing in at 69lbs, its lightweight so your not going to break much of a sweat pushing it on your lawn.  Two of the benefits I like the most over conventional gas mowers is the start up and the noise.  Gone are the days of throwing your back out trying to start the mower.  The Neuton can be started or stopped with the simple press of a button.  Its so quiet you could mow the lawn at midnight, if you were so inclined, without waking up the neighbors.  Since it runs on electric power you won’t be smelling the awful fumes of gasoline.   The only downsides are the price (The Neuton retails for $479) and the mostly plastic body (which may or may not hold up to the rigors of mowing during all times of the year).

This is awesome! Too bad it costs $479, although I am sure you will more than make up it in the cost of gas over a year. Especially in the summertime where I’m from (Florida). We have to mow twice a week sometimes!
