GreenRenter | A guide to green renting

The mainstream has grown past just eating organic food to maintain a green lifestyle.  Many are demanding green clothes, green cars, and now even green living.  Homes and apartments using ecofriendly methods for water, energy, building materials, and building surroundings are surging in demand.  Many buildings, both residential and commercial, are also getting LEED certification.  The problem, however, is for renters to find these types of properties when they are listed.  Portland Based GreenRenter has provided a solution to connect green building owners with interested green tenants.  Their website provides an excellent forum for renters to find the exact green building they are looking for.  GreenRenter is also developing a website for those interested in purchasing a green property.

Congratulations on building a wonderful site Pam! I love the concept behind GreenRenter and I can’t wait until you begin providing a similar service in California. I look forward to reading more about your strides and growth in the future.

    Best Regards,

    Ash
